I fell in love with Yoga 20 years ago, when a serious accident stopped me from doing other things. Yoga gave me back my mobility and so much more; I found a framework for living that has continued to support me really well. I love to share what I’ve learned on this journey and after initially training with the British Wheel of Yoga, I studied Ashtanga and Anusara. My style is inclusive, flexible, though - and you can expect to smile.
As in life, we need to enjoy the moment so for me Yoga isn’t about making complex or demanding shapes, it’s more about including every bit of us in each moment and move. I specialise in helping mid life women move through the time of menopause, using yoga and meditation and some of the lesser known teachings about this potent and powerful time.
Style & level of classes I teach
My style is Hatha, with lots of attention to getting posture, alignment, grounding and breathing working harmoniously together. I teach beginners through to intermediates and some advanced techniques in pranayama, bandha and mantra. I love to help those with specific health challenges and menopausal women too.
