MY JOURNEY

Yoga has always been in my life...

I personally have practised yoga for over 25 years, but my beautiful mum has ALWAYS practised yoga, my whole life! 

And she continues to be my number one inspiration

Yoga stood apart for me as I would lose myself in that hour in class. 

To move by body and really feel it move...

...whilst being aware of how my breath felt...

...to be so consumed that for brief moments, my busy mind might find a little pause..

And then...

 ...I slept like a baby and woke up feeling GREAT!

This was good stuff.

Needless to say I was hooked & haven't looked back since.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I invite you to leave your day at the door and come into a lush environment to nurture yourself through connecting to your body & breath. 

Creating shapes that help to open your body, to release some tension & aches.

Creating space for your breath to reach a little further.

Leaving class feeling a little softer, a little taller & a little more connected to you.

I teach complete beginners through to yoga teachers! And everyone in between.  Whatever the style of the class, my primary focus is you.

Allow me to hold the space for you to connect.

MY LEARNING

In 2017, I started the most amazing 15 months training as a Hatha Yoga Teacher.  What a beautiful and transformational journey that was, & continues to be.

I continue to learn and grow my knowledge & have since completed further training to teach:

·     Pregnancy Yoga

·     Postnatal Yoga

·     Yin Yoga

·     Yoga Nidra

·     Vinyasa Yoga

·     Pranayama

·     Meditation & Mantra

·     with further teaching tools by training in Advanced Sequencing and Functional Anatomy

All courses are recognised and fully accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals.

I am also developing and deepening mindfulness skills which I bring into my teaching:

·     The Anatomy: Graydin's Foundational Coaching Course

·     Mindfulness in Schools Project .begin

 I'm a true yoga geek and there is no stopping me on my learning journey so that I can enhance my own life and share this goodness and these teachings with you.

MY PRACTICE

Yoga isn’t something I do & teach, it’s about how I choose to live. 

Yoga helps me to find my voice & my way through life. 

Through yoga I am able to find a conscious choice to be mindful to my body, to my breath;

learning to listen to my true voice;

finding appreciation and gratitude for life;

learning to release that which doesn’t serve me;

finding balance for a healthy body and a happy mind.

Yoga is way more than touching your toes...

...although the stretch does feel good on the way!!
